Welcome To Christmas Celebrations :
Now, about that family stuff. I know it can be a pain in the ass. But, you know what? If Jesus had been born at the start of AD 1, as we currently have it, then Jesus would have been born some 4 or 5 years after Herod died. But the rise in popularity of full-sized animated mechanical Christmas figures is becoming more prevalent throughout the world, especially with the advent of modern technology. Although traditional Christmas foods may be eaten, drink (and plenty of it) means that little work will be done after the party!
Christmas Traditions :
Named for America’s first ambassador to Mexico, Joel Poinsett, the poinsettia plant was brought to America in 1828. The Christmas Tree was brought to England by Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert from his native Germany. Miraculously, the Temple lights burned for eight days until a new supply of oil was brought. In 1939, Montgomery Ward tapped one of their own employees
to create a book for them, thus saving money.
Santa Claus :
He lived in Myra (today we know it as Turkey) in about 300A. He is able to create and deliver virtually any present any child can imagine. He implies in his essay that parents should originally teach their children that Santa exists. Bad children are bypassed or receive a lump of coal.
Some Quotes :

"Love came down at Christmas; love all lovely, love divine; love was born at Christmas, stars and angels gave the sign." ~ Christina G. Rossetti
"The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree: the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other." ~ Burton Hillis
"I wish we could put up some of the Christmas spirit in jars and open a jar of it every month." ~ Harlan Miller
